Version history
- 1.3 (30 September 2026): new contact address info@runsta.app. The version number now matches the privacy policy.
- 1.0 (29 September 2026): first version, for the launch of the app.
Runsta is an app by Klixo, a sole proprietorship (Oldeneelweg 14, 8016 PD Zwolle, the Netherlands, KVK 87882531, info@runsta.app). By using Runsta you agree to these terms. They are short, so please read them.
1. Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- One account per person. Your account is yours and cannot be transferred.
- Choose a display name and photo that do not hurt others and do not impersonate someone else.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings.
2. Fair play
Runsta is about training against each other fairly. So:
- Only runs recorded by a watch, phone or sports app count.
- Runs entered by hand never count.
- You may not manipulate data. For example: recording rides or car trips as runs, editing distances or times, letting someone else's runs count as yours, or tricking the app or our server.
- If you upload your own plan, it must be a real plan you intend to follow.
- We may leave runs that do not add up out of points and rankings.
- If you cheat, we may take away points, remove you from a group, or suspend or delete your account. We will tell you why. If you disagree, email us. A human will review it again.
3. Not medical advice
- Runsta gives training plans and pace and heart rate advice based on your own runs. This is general information, not medical advice.
- You train at your own risk. Listen to your body. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether you should run, talk to a doctor first.
- Runsta is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything.
4. Groups and what you share
- In a group, members see your runs, points and other data as described in the privacy policy. In friends groups that can include your routes.
- What you add yourself, such as a group name, display name, photo or reaction, stays yours. You only give us the right to show it in the app to the people it is meant for, for as long as the service needs it.
- Do not post anything unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or misleading, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms.
- If you create a group, it stays available to the other members when you delete your account.
5. The service
- Runsta is free for now. We do our best to keep the app working well, but we cannot promise it is always available or free of errors.
- We may change or stop features. If we shut Runsta down, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can request your data.
- Apple Health, Garmin and Strava have their own terms as well.
6. Liability
- We are not liable for injuries or damage from training, or for lost points or ranking positions.
- Our liability is limited to what mandatory law requires. We do not exclude anything the law does not allow us to exclude, such as damage caused by intent or gross negligence.
7. Changes and law
- If we change these terms, you will see it in the version and date. For an important change we will let you know in the app.
- Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the consumer protection of that country's law.
- If you have a complaint, email info@runsta.app. We will first try to solve it together.
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
